With profound respect for the land and a dedication to preserving heritage, Marula Coffee scours the African landscapes to source the finest beans, meticulously handpicked at their peak of ripeness. Through ethical sourcing, fair trade practices, and support for local communities, Marula Coffee isn't just a beverage; it's a celebration of the land, its people, and the legacy of the Sclerocarya birrea tree.

Our goal was to create packaging that encapsulates the natural allure of the African landscape, using earthy tones and imagery inspired by the Marula fruit to establish a visually distinctive and appealing brand identity. This design aims to position Marula as a premium, culturally resonant choice within the market, inviting consumers to experience the essence of Africa in every cup. 




- The Output & Impact of New Brand
The packaging design captures the natural allure of the African landscape, using rich and earthy tones, paired with the layers - inspired by Marula’s fruit, to create an inviting and distinct visual identity. After the implementation of the new brand identity, there was a significant increase in brand visibility, leading to a 28% rise in consumer engagement and interest. This increased attention translated into a 36% growth in sales over a designated period. Additionally, the brand's emphasis on ethical sourcing and sustainability led to a 18% increase in consumer loyalty and retention rates.
